Help Haiti T-shirt!

Given the catastrophic events that occurred in Haiti, Wild Thang wanted to do something to help the people affected by the earthquake.

Wildthang named as official merchandise provider for The Legendary Mathew Street Music Festival

Wildthang are ecstatic to have been named as official merchandise provider for this year's legendary Mathew Street Festival but we are also just as excited that the actual front cover of this years programme will be embellished with the guitar brand Wildthang designed & developed. We think it is a massive compliment from Liverpool City Council to be using the branding we designed & developed.

The range of limited edition merchandise that Wildthang has been created with love care & tenderness so families or music fans alike can purchase merchandise as a lasting memory of what is Europe's largest free music festival. The range will include T-shirts, Pin Badges, Caps, Fridge Magnets & even Inflatable Guitars which have now become a little bit of an emblem for the festival.

WILDTHANG LAUNCHES LIMITED EDITION TENNIS CLOTHING LINE FOR THIS YEARS LIVERPOOL INTERNAITONAL

In a deal worth £25,000, Wildthang, a local merchandise provider, has signed up as associate sponsor for this year’s Liverpool International Tennis Tournament and will be producing all the official merchandise for the tournament, including a bespoke, limited edition clothing range.

Launched today, the clothing range is available to buy online at www.liverpooltennis.co.uk/merchandise and will be available to buy at the tournament, which takes place 17-21st June at Calderstones Park.

Extra news for Ladies Midnight walk in May

Our Partnership in the Ladies Midnight Walk came to fruition on Friday the 8th of May culminating all our hard work over the past few Months into what was a magnificent fundraising event & experience. Liver Birds Midnight Feb 2009

Roy Castle & Wild Thang have become joint partners for the first 9KM Liver Birds Midnight Walk on Friday 8th May, ”Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation are looking for 1,000 Liver Birds” to take part in its first female-only sponsored midnight walk. We our happy & proud to be so involved designing all the corporate Identity & supplying all associated merchandise.

We will be pushing the boundaries & rules a little by entering a few of the guys but only on the proviso as demanded by the Roy Castle foundation that we dress up as ladies, well it is for charity!

The Girls & (Lady/Boys) at Wild Thang are all looking forward to a great night on the town literally!

Wildthang's Santa Dashing Charity Launch (Proving charity events can be good for your body & mind)

18 Members of Wildthang's team participated in this years Santa Dash & made it there launch date for an official partnership with the Roy Castle Foundation (Our santa suits were specially branded of course!)

"We have worked with Roy Castle on a commercial level for sometime now, producing there latest de-feet lung cancer corporate image along with many associated products such as promotional items etc, but after learning about the scary statistics & facts related to Lung Cancer we just had to get involved".

We have setup a Charity & Events committee to plan & organise four wild charity events in 2009 building the size of each event year on year. The aim is to not only raise lots of money & awareness for the Roy Castle foundation but also company morale, bringing together our staff with a joint sense of achievement.

Team Wildthang put on a brave display at the HJC Charity

5 A-Side Challenge Cup on Saturday the 10th of May Deifying all odds & winning 1 game out of 4. We think it was a case of the mind was willing but the body was not. All players are still confident of turning professional next year. Well we can dream!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can tell by the picture we had put in a lot of training prior to tournament, well in the bar anyway.

City of Liverpool Business Fair in the Town Hall

Sarah Howarth & Andrew Dwerryhouse headed up Wildthangs presence at this years exhibition.

We had a very busy morning and afternoon, it was exciting speaking to so many successful companies, and we gave out a range of promotional items including USB light up mouse mats, keyrings, badges and pens, so far we have had an excellent response!

We had a prize draw at the end of the show from all business cards received for a bottle of champagne. The lucky winner was Brian Hall from BUPA cash plan

Andrew Dwerryhouse MD comments that she will start at the bottom rung of the ladder like everyone else But we understand that this may be a little difficult to climb due to her size.

WILDTHANG HAVE MOVED TO BIGGER AND BETTER PREMISES

As a direct result of the company's continued growth and success, Wildthang (screen printers & embroiderers, suppliers of promotional products, work, leisure wear & printed stationary) the Liverpool based Promotional company has moved on to bigger and better premises Derby rd, Bootle, Liverpool.

Managing Director Andrew Dwerryhouse explained: "This move to new premises is the result of major achievements over the past 12 years and is mainly due to the fact that we have grown from employing 4 staff in 2001 to a staggering 18 today from a small £1500 princes trust grant to a million plus turnover we think this is something pretty special, but I must say this has been a joint effort from both staff, directors & the customers to make it possible”

This substantial investment of £750,000 in both new premises & equipment was partly funded by Northwest development agency & shows our commitment to both our customers, staff & future growth of Wildthang.

Many of our customers have stayed with us throughout this period and we have been joined by many new ones. We believe we now have the facilities commensurate with being a major supplier of promotional products in Northwest and even within the rest UK & are very proud of now being the Uk’s No 1 football team kit printer.

We look forward to repeating this success, and having premises with 16,000 square feet of space with full in house manufacturing & storage, will give wildthang the opportunity of providing the most effective and efficient service in the industry with the ability to cope with both the smallest or largest orders our customers have to offer.

In the coming weeks we will be having an open day for customers so they see first hand how the new premises will benefit them, they will also get to see first hand how t-shirts are printed & garments are embroidered & maybe even take away a freebee or two.

June 6th

Wild Thang take the title from the Jaws of defeat, in Sunrise Appeal charity yacht race. Wildthang sponsored the winning yacht, in which two of our staff members crewed. They fought hard to fend off twelve other yachts in what was a very competitive race. There was a reception after the race & wildthang where presented with the sunrise appeal yacht race trophy.

All ye hearties had a good time ha ha!

December 5th

Santa Dash, we just had to get involved in the this. Sunrise appeal fun Race, in which Liverpool tries to grab the world record for the largest
Number of Santa’s dashing across the city in full regalia. Wild Thang Raised some cash for the Sunrise appeal & had a great time doing it.
