Wild Thang At The Talking 'Bout Regeneration Conference 2024 With DIB!

Wild Thang At The Talking 'Bout Regeneration Conference 2024 With DIB!

The team at Wild Thang had the pleasure of not just attending, but also sponsoring, the Downtown In Business Talking 'Bout Regeneration Conference held at the stunning Lowry Hotel. As a company dedicated to providing world-class branding options, we were thrilled to showcase our merchandise and engage in meaningful discussions with other businesses about elevating their brand presence.

The conference itself was a beacon of knowledge, covering a wide array of topics critical to the future of urban development, including the levelling-up agenda, net zero ambitions, and the intricacies of planning laws and housing development. The lineup of speakers was nothing short of stellar, bringing together influential leaders from both the public and private sectors to share their insights and strategies for fostering growth and innovation within our communities.

Among the highlights was the engaging presence of Wild Thang's own Andrew Dwerryhouse, who took the opportunity to share our mission and values in an interview with DIB, further solidifying our commitment to excellence in branding. Additionally, our champagne contest added a touch of celebration to our interaction with attendees, making the event not only informative but also enjoyable.

The setting of The Lowry Hotel added an extra layer of elegance to the event, providing a perfect backdrop for the discussions and networking opportunities that filled the day. It was a testament to the impeccable organisation and ambition of Downtown In Business, to whom we extend our deepest gratitude for hosting such an spectacular event.

The roster of speakers,Salford mayor Paul Dennett, Wolves chief executive Tim Johnson, the CEO of Leeds City Council Tom Riordan CBE, the Corporate Director of City Development for Liverpool City Council, Nuala Gallagher, the Property & Investment Director for Birmingham City Council Philip Nell and Phil Mayall Managing Director of Muse.. Each speaker brought a unique perspective to the table, contributing to a well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our cities today.

A special mention must go to Kenny Bruce MBE, whose talk captivated the audience with its blend of personal insight into his expertise in property and his amazing experiences being owner of Larne Football Club. Similarly, Trevor Steven's conversation about mental health and its significance in the realms of football and construction was a poignant reminder of the importance of well-being in all aspects of life and work.

As sponsors and participants, Wild Thang left the conference not only with a sense of pride in our involvement but also with a wealth of knowledge and connections that will undoubtedly influence our approach to business and community engagement moving forward. We are incredibly thankful to Downtown in Business for the opportunity and to all the attendees and speakers who made the event a resounding success.

To anyone considering attending future events of this calibre, we wholeheartedly recommend it. The insights gained and the connections made are invaluable resources for any business looking to make a positive impact in their industry and community.
