THE CLIENT:
B&M is a fast-growing discount retailer, operating from over 500 high street and out of town stores across the UK, as well as under the JA Woll brand in Germany. In the UK they offer customers a broad range of FMCG brands and non-grocery products at sensational prices. With an aim to provide customers with a fun and exciting shopping experience, offering them great products and fantastic value so that they return again and again to a B&M store.
THE BRIEF:
B&M, having already produced a standard polo shirt that formed part of the main uniform across stores, approached Wild Thang with a problem that needed to be resolved. Having received feedback from some female staff that were pregnant, many had commented that the standard polo shirt no longer fitted around the waste and restricted the freedom of movement for obvious reasons. B&M required someone to design and develop a bespoke maternity polo shirt that was exact in look of the standard polo shirts but with the freedom and cut of a quality female maternity polo shirt.
THE RESULTS:
Wild Thang has experience supplying many companies branded clothing and uniforms both standard and bespoke, in this case we loved taking up the challenge to create a bespoke solution to B&M's request. We designed and developed a high quality bespoke maternity polo shirt. We knew sizing was critical so we did some in-depth research of what different size requirements there might be. We gained a thorough insight into what was available in the retail and uniform market, we then focused how this could be improved. Once this was agreed and signed off we arranged the bespoke colour ways and sampled up the embroidery branding. The feedback from the client was incredibly positive, we had listened and delivered a quality very bespoke uniform solution for the maternity polo shirt in very efficient time scales. It’s the usual message of what we have been promoting and delivering week in week out, no two organisations, sectors or Industries are the same.
