THE CLIENT:
Southampton Football Club is a professional association football club based in Southampton, Hampshire, England, which plays in the English Premier League, the top tier of English football. The club has been nicknamed "The Saints" since its inception in 1885 due to its history as a church football team, founded as St. Mary's Church of England Young Men's Association.
THE BRIEF:
The Client was looking to get circa 50 thousand football team kits printed with a new sponsor that due to timescales could not be branded at point of manufacture. Southampton Football Club approached Wild Thang in the knowledge that we have branded for many top flight premiership teams previously so had confidence we could fulfil the very large quantities required, to the quality and specification needed and in the timescales required.
THE RESULTS:
Wild Thang were successful in a tendering process to deliver a solution for the sponsorship branding of all their home, away and Goalkeeper football shirts for both retail and first team kits along with all training kit. Producing and sampling a retail quality screen-printed transfer that met stringent test washing and then applying the transfer to circa 50K, putting a stringent quality control plan in place which resulted in incredibly low minimal spoils rate. Timescales were critical for delivery for the kit launch so they were ready to be retailed. Unpack and repack as specified by the client. The full project was completed and delivered in the timescales required to the highest specification possible resulting in a very relieved and happy client. It’s the Wildthang way!
