THE CLIENT:
Volair is a council owned and controlled organisation that has been established to maintain leisure services across an entire borough. It’s a ‘not for profit’ organisation so any profits will be ploughed back into the services it provides.
THE BRIEF:
The brief was to design and develop a uniform that delivered quality and functionality across a number of different areas including Life Guards, Reception Staff, Supervisors, Management, Personal Trainers and Cleaning Employees.
THE RESULTS:
Wild Thang were successful in winning this business after a competitive tender process. As experts in delivering solutions for virtually any uniform requirement across all sectors we presented a solution bespoke to Volair that included quality garment options for individual departments which had good stock holding, had an extensive range of sizes and could be delivered on tight deadlines giving a guarantee of continuity throughout the length of the contract. We looked carefully at the different areas within the operation and proposed specific uniforms that would fit with that role in terms of comfort, movement and garment care. We now have a corporate scheme in place that gives ease of ordering and functionality along with the usual one to one service. Feedback from the Volair senior management and employees has been very positive after extensive testing and wearing of the garments.
