The Guide team did an exceptional job of curating a celebration that not only recognised those making a difference but also captured the heart and soul of our city and raised a huge amount of money for charity on the evening, Huge congratulations to all the winners and nominees who continue to make the Liverpool City Region a better, brighter, purposeful, and more connected place for everyone.

And of course, finally but just as importantly, congratulations to our Unsung Hero Award winner, our very good friend John Hughes, who acts as Liverpool’s Nighttime Economy Advisor though Nightlife CIC, we have known him for circa 20+ years and who has also has been a client of Wild Thang way back when he ran the 147 Bar, Snooker and pool venue. It was both without prior knowledge of who the winner would be, we proudly presented the Unsung Hero Award for his contribution to the safety in the city, which made the whole event even more special and magical.
