Over the festive season as a team at Wild Thang, we wanted to put more time into helping in the community and put more attention into our CSR efforts. Over the Christmas period, we were delighted to welcome the Matthew Arnold Primary School children to Wild Thang HQ and we were proud to help Woolton FC & Kingsthorne FC who took part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks charity walk in memory of Joel O'callaghan ( former Woolton Fc Coach & Kingsthorne Player).
The team welcomed the children of Matthew Arnold Primary School and we gave them a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities we have here at Wild Thang HQ. We showed them how all our departments work and even gave them all a Wild Thang gift bag to go home with. The teachers told us that they have been concentrating on printing methods in school so we were thrilled to show them all the different print works and branding methods we have in our amazing facility.
After receiving a message from the team we were really happy to get involved in the Yorkshire 3 peaks charity walk that Woolton FC & Kingsthorne FC had decided to get involved in, the aim behind the walk was to raise awareness of mental health and raise some money for such a great cause, all donations were sent to the Beacon Counselling Trust. Wild Thang was delighted to be able to get involved and help support the team by producing the amazing t-shirts they used for the walk. The target amount to be raised from the walk was £4,500 and they all managed to break that target and bring in an impressive £4,530, this was such an amazing achievement from the team and something to be proud of.
Helping out in the community is something we really care about at Wild Thang and as we move into 2023 we can't wait to see what we can do throughout the year to create more amazing moments which we can be proud of as a team.
