Excitement is in the air at Wild Thang. Back in December 2022, Wild Thang sponsored a 3 time National Amateur boxing champion as he made his professional debut. We are thrilled to support the rise of a talented athlete and to be a part of his journey to success.
Meet Alex Pattison, a 23-year-old up-and-coming fighter with a passion for the sport and a drive to succeed. Boxing out of Gemini ABC in Speke, Liverpool under well respected coach John Rice, Alex made a successful start to his boxing career under the new professional banner of VIP Boxing Promotions at the Liverpool Olympia. Alex had only recently turned over to the professional ranks after 12 successful years boxing for amateur club Gemini ABC and also representing England at international level.
We are proud to have sponsored Alex in his first pro fight and we are delighted to say that you can see our Wild Thang logo branding displayed on his boxing shorts. Congratulations from the whole Wild Thang team on an amazing win that night and we look forward to many more to come.
After speaking to Alex he came for a tour of Wild Thang HQ to say hello to the team, at the end he had this to say “Big thank you to Wild Thang for their support as kit sponsor at the start of my professional career. The quality of the fight night t-shirts and training wear is excellent and the financial support of supplying the shorts for fight night is also a massive help”.
Alex came in and was given a tour of our world-class facilities and got a chance to say hello to our amazing team. During the tour he was introduced to Simon who is head of our screen print department
who talked to him a little about the process of screenprint.
