Wild Thang Partner With Liverpool City Region Business Expo 2024, showcasing sustainable merchandise as the official branded clothing and merchandise partners!

We are thrilled to share our experiences from the Liverpool City Region Business Expo 2024, held at the iconic Exhibition Centre on King's Dock on Friday 14th June . The event was an incredible success, filled with innovation, networking and an electric atmosphere!

Callum & Lewis With The Wild Thang Stand 

As the official branding partners for the expo, we were proud to support and sponsor this prestigious event that is a highlight in the Liverpool business calendar. One of the highlights for us was producing and showcasing sustainable merchandise in the form of the lanyards being used at the event. The lanyard is made of RPET, which is recycled polyethylene terephthalate plastic that is used to make packaging, such as plastic bottles and food containers and also merchandise like these lanyards. After the original PET containers are used by consumers, they are returned via a recycling program to a facility that sorts, cleans, and transforms the plastic into RPET flakes or pellets. The printed cards that will be provided with the lanyard will be FSC sourced meaning the card comes from a sustainably grown forest.

We are also going a step further by giving attendees the opportunity to hand them back when leaving the event so they can be reused at another event or if kept to simply keep using the lanyard beyond the event as a keyring or key work access card holder, the longer something is used the lower the long-term carbon impact will be in the long term. 

Wild Thang Event Stand Karaoke 

Wild Thang took immense pride in showcasing our world-class stand at the event which once again highlighted our high standards. It was a fantastic opportunity to spread awareness about our brand and sustainability practices. Our stand featured an engaging spin-the-wheel activity, where participants had the chance to win sustainable merchandise or even showcase their singing talents in a fun karaoke session.

Wild Thang 8 Stage Sustainability Pledge 

The spin-the-wheel activity at our stand was a big hit! Participants could win sustainable merchandise or take part in a karaoke challenge, each entry has been entered into a bucket and two names will be drawn, one for a magnum bottle of champagne and another for £500 of Wild Thang branded merchandise! Sustainability is at the core of Wild Thang’s values and we were thrilled to showcase our eco-friendly products. We are sure merchandise will not only look great but also align perfectly with our commitment to sustainability as part of producing these lanyards, we will even be planting trees and investing in carbon avoidance projects to again lessen the impact on the environment.

Shout Expo 2024 Venue Highlight 

The venue, the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, was the perfect setting for this bustling event. With an estimated 150 exhibitors and more than 1,800 visitors, the space was alive with business energy and collaborative potential. It was truly inspiring to see so many passionate professionals coming together to share ideas and drive forward the region’s economic growth.

Running since 2018, the Liverpool City Region Business Expo has seen tremendous growth, reflecting the positivity and innovation of businesses in the region. It’s great to be involved and it’s been amazing to see how the event has evolved over the years. The Expo has truly become a highlight on the business calendar, and we’re honoured to be involved.
