Wild Thang was delighted to attend the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2022 last night as guests and category sponsors, we were proud to be part of an event that celebrated the amazing work being done by local businesses and individuals to make Liverpool City Region a World Class visitor and hospitality tourist destination.

The event was held in the iconic Liverpool Cathedral, which provided a stunning backdrop for the night's celebrations and the awards were hosted by the talented Sam Quek, an Olympic athlete and TV presenter, the event will also be raising money on the evening for Hospitality Action & My Time.

The highlight of the night, of course, was the awards ceremony, which started at 9:30 pm. It was a true testament to the incredible talent and hard work in the industry. Congratulations to all the winners, you truly deserve all the recognition and praise for your amazing contributions.

As proud sponsors of the Tourism Young Person of the Year award, we were thrilled to present the award to Neve Sutton of National Museums Liverpool, who is a shining example within the industry. Congratulations to all the other finalists in this category it is a real testament to young people’s important contribution to the tourism and hospitality sectors.

As a local business which has also supported this event for the past 8 years we understand the importance of supporting events like these, which promote the growth of essential industries such as tourism and hospitality. It was a great opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the tourism community in 2022 and we look forward to continuing our support for this amazing event in the future.

evening that included the official program, photo backdrop and pull up displays. For any event or promotion, we really think it’s the finishing branding touches like this that make all the difference in creating a world class event.

Final heartfelt congratulations to all the winners on the night, but also all finalists, you should all be incredibly proud of the contribution you are making by working tirelessly to make Liverpool City Region a world class destination. We look forward to continuing our support for this amazing event in the future and can't wait to see what the Liverpool City Region tourism industry has in store for 2023 which of course already includes hosting Eurovision on behalf of last year’s winners Ukraine.
