In 2023, we are investing approximately £250k to enhance our capacity and so our team can embrace the latest innovative branding techniques, which will elevate us to new branding heights.
Expert DTF Machinery Installation Happening At Wild Thang HQ
One of the key highlights of our investment is the acquisition of the cutting-edge V8 DTF (Direct To Film) machine, accompanied by an industrial finishing unit. This state-of-the-art machinery is a new and innovative branding method that uses inkjets to print the image direct to film, creating industrial retail quality textile transfers which is then heat sealed to the garment or fabric.

The colour vibrancy and high-resolution printing capabilities really gives virtually endless branding possibilities for our customers’ requirements. With print speeds of up to 24m² per hour, we have significantly increased our capacity, ensuring faster turnaround times without compromising on quality.
DTF Fully Installed & Tested Creating Retail Quality Textile Transfers
With Inhouse Screen-printing, DTG (Direct To Garment), Digital Print Transfer, Cad Cut Transfer, Dye sublimation print, Embroidery and now with the addition of this new DTF (Direct To Film) it really places us at the cutting edge of the industry meaning we are able to brand on any type of apparel with a huge variety of branding methods.
New State Of The Art Embroidery Machines Being Delivered
In addition to the V8 DTF machine, our investment includes the acquisition of new embroidery machines. We have brought in three State of the art latest generation Multi-head embroidery machines, to increase our embroidery capacity but especially headwear embroidery capacity where we have seen significant growth.

This means we are producing more in our embroidery department while improving quality and adding even more innovative embroidery branding techniques.
One Of The State-Of-The-Art Embroidery Machines Installed
Two more Industrial Pneumatic programmable heat presses have also been added, this investment is in order to increase our production capacity for heat seal production which has seen significant demand and growth. These has also very recently been more IT hardware and software installed to support our growing team numbers, provided by our expert IT partner obsidian, who we would highly recommend.

Finally, on the list of investments we have added an additional Forklift truck and a high-level order picker vehicle. With the new warehouse space full functioning the addition of the extra forklift provides a huge boost in efficiency for our production team. Our team now having access to a high-level order picker vehicle means they can reach stock, which is placed higher up at ease, it makes the lives of our team in production not only safer but more efficient.

Our commitment to sustainability is another important aspect of our investment. DTF printers, like the V8 DTF machine, use planet-friendly water-based inks and prevent excess ink flow. Additionally, many models feature innovative features such as powder shakers or upgraded suction systems, reducing waste and promoting a greener approach to printing.
