In our unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability, Wild Thang Ltd has embarked on a remarkable partnership with Ecologi, while to date we have planted 22,274 trees in partnership, it’s also a collaboration that spans the globe and directly supports climate projects in various corners of the world. Through our funding, we are making tangible strides towards a more sustainable future, channeling our resources into initiatives that address key environmental challenges.
Addressing Methane Emissions and Promoting Clean Energy
One of our pivotal projects takes us to Brazil, where we are actively involved in avoiding methane emissions from landfills. The main objective of the project is to prevent emissions of methane gas into the atmosphere from the landfill site called “Central de Tratamento de Resíduos Macaúbas” located in the municipality of Sabará in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The project activity comprises of the installation of new active LFG extraction, flaring and electricity generation systems. This initiative not only helps reduce greenhouse gas effects but also contributes to cleaner air and a healthier environment for local communities. Meanwhile, in Mexico, we're championing a wind power project, with the zone of El Istmo de Tehuantepec alone having the potential to produce over 33,000MW, it is a great place to invest. This project will prevent the emissions of 245,015 tonnes CO2e on average every year that it is operational, which will be for at least 20 years.

Empowering Communities and Harnessing Clean Technology:
Across the globe, we're making a significant impact in Kenya by distributing cleaner cookstoves. This not only promotes sustainable cooking practices but also combats deforestation, creating a positive ripple effect for both the environment and local communities. Turning our attention to India, we're taking innovative steps by transforming local organic waste into electricity. India generates 62 million tonnes of municipal solid waste per year, of which 75% is collected. Only 20% of collected waste is treated, the rest being sent to dumpsites or landfills, having negative environmental impacts and posing huge issues to human health, particularly when there is a large share of organic waste. This visionary approach not only addresses waste management but also contributes to a cleaner energy mix.
Protecting Biodiversity and Conserving Vital Ecosystems
In Colombia, the Vichada department, where this project is based is situated on the eastern plains of the country, near the border with Venezuela. It is found in the river basin of the Orinoco River. Deforestation has historically represented a large environmental challenge in Colombia, but the Matavén REDD+ project protects 1,150,212 hectares of tropical forest in the Indigenous Reservation of the Matavén Forest. We are proud to be part of the effort to safeguard the Matavén forest, a vital ecosystem that plays a crucial role in biodiversity conservation.
In Indonesia, the Katingan Restoration and Conservation Project is located within the districts of Katingan and Kotawaringin Timur in the Central Kalimantan Province of Indonesian Borneo. The project sets out to protect and restore 149,800 hectares of peatland ecosystem. Thanks to our partnership with Ecologi we are contributing towards the peatland restoration and conservation, a significant step towards preventing carbon emissions and preserving delicate ecosystems.
Harnessing Resources for Clean Energy
Within our partnership with Ecologi, we're involved in capturing waste biogas for energy in Turkey, a project that maximizes valuable resources while promoting renewable energy solutions. Additionally, our support for generating wind power in the United States aligns with our goal of transitioning to cleaner energy alternatives.

In our latest August update with the help of Ecologi we have planted more than 20,000 trees which is a huge achievement.
