On 21st May 2018 Wild Thang were proud to play their part in the Ed Chamberlin Golf Classic 2018, which supports the amazing Well Child Charity for seriously ill children. In partnership with Sky Bet and J.Lindeberg we produced merchandise worn by celebrities such as Sir AP McCoy, Ian Wright, Oli Bell and second year on the run winner James Taylor. Woburn GC, and The Marquees course was the setting and as previous years there was a lot of participants who raised an unbelievable amount of money for Well Child, we are already looking forward to 2019!

We love this powerful photo of Barack Obama having just signed the official documentation after his inauguration ceremony. He was certainly one of Wild Thang’s favourite past presidents & this is one of my personal favourite examples of merchandise in action photographs. The Cross pen being used has been the pen of choice for American presidents both past and present proving literally the power of the branded corporate gift pen. Cross has been an official supplier of pens to the White House since at least the 1970s. The pens used to sign legislation are often given out as souvenirs to those who attend the bill signings. While an official Cross–White House program was begun under president Bill Clinton, it is known that the tradition goes back to at least the administration of Gerald Ford. All presidents from Ronald Reagan to Donald Trump signed legislation using Cross pens. The Trump administration placed an initial order for 150 Cross Century II pens in January 2017. You can be part of this presidential history by using a Cross pen in your next marketing campaign or incentive campaign.
